Take out ( like fast food)? Never

If I sit down in the restaurant, then I tip if I get good service.

andrewta ,

Honestly I get the reason he said what he did. If he didn't 80% of the replies would have been, try Linux or try apple. So he just beat those people over the head before they started.

How can a ugly and short guy compensate for his looks?

I am talking about love in the sense of romantic love. I am very short and ugly which makes me very unattractive. Never had a girlfriend or touched a girl. I have many girl friends but one of them was my crush but I never asked her as I knew she would never like me. I know people will say that just get successful and rich and...

andrewta ,

You need to go reread what he said. No where did he even imply what you said.

andrewta OP ,

Sorry I should clarify that. No the constitution of a country

andrewta OP ,

Probably a political discussion. Any suggestions?

andrewta OP ,

No. Now I have to ask how would one write a constitutional amendment about Linux?

andrewta OP ,

Why would you think that? Not trying to be a jerk,I'm honestly curious how you drew that conclusion?

andrewta OP ,

So because my username has the name Andrew in it means I must like andrew tate?

Not sure how he came to that conclusion

andrewta OP ,

Fair enough. Enough letters are there.

I'm about as opposite as you can get.

andrewta OP ,

Or my name is Andrew and the initials ta stand for something.

andrewta OP ,

lol I literally got down voted for saying my name

andrewta ,

Gonna have a little fur on on that burger

andrewta ,

Simple answer is : yes

The problem is everyone is going their own way with it.

andrewta ,

Many of us have been raising the alarm for years. And being told we are just fear mongering.

Sometimes they are on an older package. Which means they have a much lower monthly bill. If they cancel and then sign back up, they now have a much higher monthly bill. So yeah, a single click actually is bad. But that doesn’t mean the button shouldn’t exist. That just means there should be a couple of prompts. For example, the first one is canceled. The second one is a a screen that shows what they are paying per month, With a section next to it, that shows what they would pay if they signed back up. Then that screen there are two buttons that says no I did not mean to cancel, and the other button that says yes, go ahead and drop the service. That actually makes sense. but I actually agree with the statement that a single button that says cancel and allows you to drop the service in one button is actually very bad.

andrewta ,

Dumb question here : if it's inside of a wood burning stove does it really matter?

andrewta ,

“Yo mom yo shits on fire”.

Good point.

andrewta ,

why?
honest question. if they are making record profits and their stock is going up why would you not buy their stock?

andrewta ,

Only in fantasy land can we think capitalism will go away. Might as well put my money where it will gain value for me. Not like they'll suddenly go out of business if I don't invest in them. Buy let it gain 5-6% then sell it.

andrewta ,

If you have tile in your bathroom, do a test in a small out of the way on the tile when cleaning. That way if it damages the tile you don’t have a major problem. This actually goes for all surfaces.

andrewta OP ,

good thought. it says

I’m sorry, but I cannot upscale the generated image to 4k. That is beyond my current capabilities. However, I can provide you with some web search results that might help you find a suitable tool for that task. Here are some of the top results from Bing:

If you think he is advocating for China then you need to reread what was wrote

andrewta ,

Then you need to reread it. At no point did he come even close to advocating for China. He was quite clear in that.

andrewta ,

Simple answer is no. You have a constitutional right to say not guilty because it’s innocent until proven guilty.

Law of unintended consequences. Get complacent thinking you have a fortune in stocks. Quality goes down. Stock value goes down. Have to work longer to make that money back.

andrewta ,

where are people living that they have termination fees on cable tv? I am in Minnesota with Spectrum (previously charter (previously something else)) … I could call in tomorrow and drop the service and there wouldn’t be a termination fee. They would give me an option : use it for the rest of the billing period or just cancel it now and prorate the amount I’ve paid.

I’m not saying fees don’t exist. I’m just curious what companies are charging them and where these people live.

Throw up the food then lay next to it and look cute

Why do people always assume you're part of a group just because you're defending them?

Have we really become so unempathetic as a society that the act of putting yourself in others’ shoes is unbelievable to the point that people assume you must be part of the group you’re defending? So I often see people being unfairly discriminatory and mean to certain types, attributes or qualities of people, which I know...

andrewta ,

What you do is up to you. For me : I run like hell from people like that. If I have to talk to them during work it’s ONLY about work related material.

Appliances with an off light.

In the last few years I have purchased a pressure cooker and an air fryer. They both waste electricity by having an off light. Furthermore they act like red nightlights and my kitchen has an eerie red glow at night. What is the actual purpose for off lights besides to waste electricity?

andrewta ,

The ultra tiny amount of electricity is… Well you probably would never notice it on your bill.

But yeah it can be annoying having it there. I guess the purpose is to tell you that it has power available if you need it

andrewta ,

The simple answer is “REFUSE TO BUY THE SHIT!”

It is literally that simple. I can’t think of a single person that HAS to buy a NEW car. Keep what you have or buy used. Tell the dealerships and auto makers to fuck off! Explain why a person ever has to buy a NEW car.

As long as people are stupid and buy it the auto makers WILL continue on this path.

Here’s hoping the cat doesn’t have a serious paw injury.

I hate that I am become this person but: are delivery drivers just allowed to call and say 'please come and meet me' now?

i get it’s a legitimate safety thing to some degree and to certain people but have you considered that i cannot leave my place right now which is why i paid 40 dollars you ess dee for taco bell. which was a legitimate safety thing for myself as well, frankly....
